The main beach of Katakolon is called “Plakes” and is located behind the port, only 5-7 min walking distance from our accommodation.
It is an organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds and there is a snack bar serving drinks and snacks.
Coast of Katakolo – Spiatza beach
The Coast of Katakolon, gives you the opportunity to walk along the sea or to relax in one of beach bars that exist.
Agios Andreas beach
About 3 kilometers from Katakolon is the beach of St. Andrew, Agios Andreas in Greek.
It is a small but organized beach with cafes and spectacular views of the Ionian Sea.
Kourouta beach
The beach “Kourouta” just 25 minutes (by car) from Katakolon, is a very beautiful sandy beach with sun loungers and many cafes.Has been awarded the blue flag and is worth a visit.
